9 year cycle:In numerology, each year of your life is part of an evolving pattern that can be described as a nine-year cycle or epicycle. These cycles begin at your birth and progress, one by one, through nine steps that complete an epicycle, and then begin again.
Numbers hold a vibration, therefore the numbers in our date of birth mean something unique to us.
Life Path Number -The Life Path is the sum of the birth date. This number represents who you are at birth and the native traits that you will carry with you through life. The most important number that will be discussed here is your Life Path number. The Life Path describes the nature of this journey through life. The Life Path number is established from the date of birth. First, add the Month, day, and year together to arrive at a total. Next, reduce this four digit number to a single digit.
Personal Year Number -The Personal Year is helpful in evaluating the trend of the coming calendar year. For a clue as to what lies ahead in the coming year, calculate your personal year using this formula:
First, reduce the month and day of your birth, your birthday, to a single digit. Using my birthday for example, October 29th, that single digit would be 1 (1+0+2+9=12=3). If your month and day total comes to 11 or 22, the master numbers, in this instance, reduce the number to 2 and 4, respectively.
Next, reduce the year for which you are making the calculation to a single digit. The year 2010 would become 3.
Now, add the single digit representing your birthday to the single digit representing the year in question, so 2010- is a 6 personal year for me.
