I have done alot of dream work and studied it, and have found that my interpretations of dreams are quite significant to that persons life, perhaps its an experience they've gone through, that they haven't yet dealt with.. unfinished business is likely. Or a message from your guides, to help you. Maybe you've experienced a premonition, or keep seeing certain people, or having certain feelings in your dreams that you have no idea what their about?!
